What makes the Bible different from all other Books?

Prophecies!!!!!!!!

Facts: There are 66 different books written over a 1400 years times span with over 40 different Authors they all say the something about Elohim (God) all though living different generations and different times.

Isa 46:9 "Remember the former events of old, for I am Ěl, (the God) and there is no one else – Elohim (powers, or Gods), and there is no one like Me, (The Scriptures Version)

Isa 46:10 declaring the end from the beginning, and from of old that which has not yet been done, saying, 'My counsel does stand, and all My delight I do,' (The Scriptures Version)

Same verse different version

Isa 46:9 Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me,

Isa 46:10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure: (KJV)

Some scholars have calculated that nearly one – third of the Bible is prophetic in nature. Others have determined there are approximately, 2500 separated prophecies that forecast future events.

Heb 1:1
Elohim, having of old spoken in many portions and many ways to the fathers by the prophets
(The Scriptures Verison) (he spoke to us through the prophets thus the Bible)

Heb 1:1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, (KJV)

2Pe 1:19
We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:
(KJV)

Man is naturally inclined due to his fallen nature, to look for evidence that refutes God's existence. If the Bible only contained a couple prophecies that had found fulfillment, we would be tempted to call them coincidences, but when we consider that prophecy occupied practically one third of the written word, it becomes irrefutable (even for the skeptic) that the scriptures are something special something supernatural.

Psa 14:1 & 53:1
The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God
(Elohim). They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good. (KJV)

Deu 18:21 And if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know the word which the LORD(YHWH) hath not spoken?

Deu 18:22 When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD (YHWH), if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD (YHWH). hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him. (KJV)
(layman terms: Q: How do we know if it's of YHWH(the Lord) if YHWH (the Lord) did not say it Himself? Answer: if it doesn't come to pass it's not from Him.)

How I got into the Hebraic Messianic Roots.

I am originally from Jamaica, came here when I was 2years old by my parents who move to Florida due to relatives living here, and wanting to start a new life in the US. I was brought up in a Christian home. My dad use to be an evangelist back in Jamaica helping to bring souls to Christ.

I received Yeshua at a young age, so I wasn’t popular in school because I didn’t stand for nor did certain things they thought was cool, plus I would try to tell them about Yeshua, and that they needed to repent and get saved. Maybe that was part of the reason….. ;) Plus at times I was a shy kid. Despite that I loved to debate kids that believed in evolution against creation. They were like my target I had to tell them the truth. I definitely bit off more then I could chew, because those kids were smart and I didn’t know as much as I thought but I knew we didn’t come from apes and “the big bang” didn’t create the whole world and I just wanted to prove that. I read books, went to creation seminars, sharing the message with people along the way. I was a little evangelist like my daddy.

How I got into the Hebraic Messianic Roots? Well I wanted to take a world religion class in college, to learn more about different faiths, so I could understand different beliefs and be able to reach more people. My dad discourage me from taking the class, for it would confuse me more then help me, I was determine nothing would deter me from the faith.

In class I remembered we had two reports, any thing to do with religious topics. So the two papers I choice were, “Christians vs Catholics” and “Jews and Christians, How are they Similar?” They were random topics I choice. At the time I didn’t know my teacher was Catholic when I did my 1st paper, because he didn’t want the class to know till the end. I especially didn’t know how I was going to do my 2nd because I really didn’t know how they were similar just that Yeshua was a Jew, and He loved His Jewish people.

I remember praying, “how was I going to show that Jews and Christians are similar?” It had to be Elohim sent, because it so happen that “The Holy Land Experience” in Orlando just opened up and we so happen to be going. Interesting! I decided I would definitely find what I needed. The owner at the time was Thomas E. Powell and Marwin Rosenthal a Messianic Jew that help with the development of the place, wrote a book called the “The Feast of the Lord,“ he also had a seminar in Orlando explaining the feast and how it related to the Messiah. I had to be in that class to get the information. I was ready to take notes for my report. However in the lecture I grew so tried, that I couldn’t keep my eyes open, no matter how hard I tried. Once I heard he had a book that explained everything he lectured on, I bought the book, read the whole thing in a week. I just could not put it down, and I was literally blown away. Couldn’t believe the church wasn’t teaching this stuff. Did my paper and got an A. My teacher loved it and I never been the same since.

I Love the Jews, tried to get friends and family to learn more about the feast and the Jews, but they didn’t see the need to. I believe once you do that the Bible comes alive with more understanding. Now I go to a Hebraic Messianic church and it has come alive for me. I can’t see the Bible the same, I can’t take it for granted anymore. Its Real, its Life it’s the “Living Word” of Elohim John1:1

The Book I read was. “The Feast of the Lord”by Kevin Howard and Marvin Rosenthal.

This is harsh but True Paul speaking to the Church of Corinth in 1Corinthans 5:9-13

1Co 5:9 I wrote to you in my letter not to keep company with those who whore.

1Co 5:10 And I certainly did not mean with those of this world who whore, or with the greedy of gain, or swindlers, or idolaters, since then you would need to go out of the world. (we need to witness to them just, like Yeshua did but…)

1Co 5:11 But now I have written to you not to keep company with anyone called ‘a brother,’ if he is one who whores, or greedy of gain, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or a swindler – not even to eat with such a one. (wow that’s harsh)

1Co 5:12 For what have I to do with judging outsiders? Do you not judge those who are inside? (so we "can" judge our own brothers and sisters in Yeshua Messiah, ??)

1Co 5:13 But Elohim judges those who are outside. And put away the wicked one from among you! (wow ok put away any in the church or body of Christ who are doing evil. Hmmm, it’s like the saying a bad apple spoils the whole bunch…… I know we all fall short, even as Christians, but this means, knowingly sinning without repentance and turning away from it. )

Today's Christians

It s amazing what people do these days and call themselves Christians. I was no different. I notice once you call yourself Christian, in the work place or school, basically in the world. You’re looked at more closely, if you say a curse word, or if you’re not kind enough to give up your last cookie, or if you take a paper clip from your company that has thousands, you’re judged. Its ridiculous how we’re scrutinized for petty things, I believe it’s the world trying to justify their bad behavior, cuz if Christians are doing it then it must be ok, I just need to go to church and ask for forgiveness, and do it again.

Really? Does it mean that were free to do whatever we want because were under grace? Are we any different from the world? Could they tell us apart or do we blend in with the rest of them?..

Where do we draw the line? What can we get away with?.... Is it ok to have sex out of marriage? Go to clubs and dance with strangers or just going to clubs period, and drink around all shorts of people looking just like them with no intention to witness or share the message that they will parish in their sins.

Is it ok to smoke weed, because it’s natural, cigarettes, curse or practice homosexuality? I am not trying to lay down do's and don’ts however I believe Christians lost their way. If you’re in a marriage there’s going to be certain things you’re not going to do anymore, if you want to stay in that marriage or be called husband/ wife of your spouse.

We are referred to as the bride of Yeshua (Jesus), many times in scriptures we are referred to Him as the bride. We need to be ready for when our bridegroom comes or we will be left behind Mat 25:1-13. He adores us with His garments, Isa 61:10. He wants us to keep our garments clean, and ready for His return, Rev3:14, Rev 16:15. We the church, is the Lamb’s wife the holy city Jerusalem descending from heaven Rev21:9-27 and Rev22.

Can we be called His bride if we are unfaithful?........ He rathers we not be for Him then to be for Him and do the things of the world and say we’re Christians, Rev 3:16. It’s the same as cheating on your spouse in public and saying you’re still madly in love with them. Elohim will not be mocked Gal 6:7. When He says “Do not take My name in vain” for He will not hold them guiltless who takes His name in vain (Exo 20:7), in Hebrew it means don’t misrepresent My name. Don’t misrepresent who He is through your actions, just like your parents or spouse would not want you to misrepresent or disrespect them, because you symbolize your family / spouse.

At some point, when we continue down our broad path, He will leave us up to our reprobate (no-good) minds. Rom 1:28 “And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient….” In other words you would no longer feel guilty, He would eventually stop trying to call you back.
We may appear to be Christians in public in front of other Christians. We may even pray, sing songs and say Amen, however behind the scenes we are a different person. Who are we really fooling? Certainly not Elohim.

Bottom line, we “So called Christian” have been quiet for too long blending in with the crowd. What are we to Him if we can’t stand for Him? Life is but a vapor, we need to represent Him. “If God be for us who can be against us,” Rom 8:31. “If you deny Me before men I will deny you before my Father which is in heaven” Matt 10:33. If you want to see Him one day, don’t deny Him today.
